We, at Amrita Vidyalayam, Peroor observed World Environment day on June 5th, 2015 in a befitting way. The Chief Guest on this occasion was Mr. V.K. Madhusoodhanan, former Superintendent of the Fisheries Department. He is a member of the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad, and a writer. He also discovered a certain variety of the mangrove. V.K Madhusoodhanan Sir inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, the Chief Guest also handed over charges to the School President, Madhav S. Nair of Class IX and the School Secretary Daya Mohan of Class IX.
