Every year, March 21st is observed as International Colours Day. We at Amrita Vidyalayam, Peroor, celebrated the day with great fun. Sri Sivasankara Pillai, retired Hindi Professor, TKM Arts & Science College, was the chief guest. He lit the lamp and inaugurated the function. Our Principal Ma’am welcomed everybody. The chief guest spoke about the sacred relationship between a student and a teacher. Devadarsh of Standard I and Sahasra of U.K.G spoke a few words about colours. It was really captivating. Cultural events were also included as part of the celebration. The programme ended with a wonderful dance performance by girls of Standard V.
