The students of class IX, along with two teachers, visited
the Pain and Palliative Care Unit in Chinnakada, Kollam. The
Chief Physician of this clinic is Dr. Rani Santhakumari who is a
Gynaecologist and Palliative Care Specialist, and a former
District Medical Officer of Kollam. Here, treatment is given free
of cost to cancer patients. The students got the chance to
interact with Dr. Rani Santhakumari and Dr. Saramma. Our
students donated packets of rice and pulses to the patients.
