Gurupurnima is a festival dedicated to the Guru and is celebrated all over India. This is the day when we worship our teachers and express our gratitude towards them for all their hard work. Gurus or teachers have always been acknowledged as a guide to all. By being our mentors, they have always led us through the path to success. Gurus and their shishyas have always shared good relationships. At our school, the bond of this relationship is strengthened through the “Mathrupuja ceremony”.
Our school celebrated Gurupurnima on 26th June, 2015. On this day, the children performed “Padapuja” of their parents under the guidance of Bri. Bhavyamrita Chaithanya, the in-charge of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Thiruvalla. She graced the occasion with satsang and bhajans.
